Nomination for Årets Lavemissions træbyggeri + Build in Wood 2024
Tversted House is in its final stages of completion and will be ready for the client any day now. With our tireless efforts to bring down embodied carbon for both building structures and architecture we are thrilled to have achieved recognition from Træ i Byggeriet.
Tversted House is now announced to be among the final 3 competitors for Årets Lavemissions Træbyggeri 2023 (the Annual low carbon emissions timber building Awards). We are honoured to be nominated and competing against some of the most prominent and large scale of our consultant colleagues.
This is with the lowest LCA result in the race:
6 kgCO2e/m2/year for embodied carbon and operations combined.
The winner of the award will be announced at this year’s Build In Wood on May 22nd.
Alan Burden and Erik Martiny will be present and the conference and give a talk, diving into the design-process of Tversted House and how we have achieved carbon reductions in other timber and hybrid structures.
